Playing with Cats

If you are a cat person, then one of your favorite hobbies is probably to play with your cat or cats. Most people love playing with cute cats or kittens. Kittens are born with their eyes shut but their eyes soon open about 10 days later. A kitten will learn to walk about 2 weeks later. Kittens and cats love to play. They play fight with each other but they will not really hurt each other. You should not separate a kitten from its mother before it is 8-weeks old. A pet cat usually live for about 12-14 years but some can live as long as 30 years.
To play with your cat, you need to make it feel safe. You need to learn how cats talk. Cats act in certain ways in certain situations. By learning to read cats, you can be sure to play with them when they are ready to play and leave them alone when they want to be left alone. You can also calm them down when they are not calm.
