I live in connecticut so i dont know how much of a demand this career can be.
Answer: Petco is a good place to start if you are interested in becoming an animal groomer. Their grooming program teaches you all you need to know to become one. Check out their website to learn more.
www.petco.comAlso if you want to do dog training really research the school that you are interested in. I went to a job interview for a online dog training school and they seemed pretty good. you basically signed up and they sent you the books and materials and you did everything online. I think it is a two year program and the first year basically is learning about the job and the second is actually an internship. They will match you up with trainers in your area and you do hands on training with them. They can also give you info on what kinds of jobs you can get into with a degree and so on.

Look into community colleges in your neighborhood or even technical schools. I’m sure if you do enought research you will find what really fits with you. Good luck with your search!

Question: Are ultralight/light sport flying clubs common?
I’m kinda interested in getting a pilots license, though it seems like its an expensive and intensive hobby. I’m interested in getting a light sport certificate since id probably just fly once in awhile for fun, but i dont really want to drop +25k down for a plane plus hanger fees, maintanence, etc. Are fliying clubs devoted to ultralights or light sport aircraft common? i could only find regular flying clubs in my area online but im wondering if there might be a shot at finding one if i called around to some smaller aiports in the area
Answer: I’d recommend checking with your local airport. Many times there are instructors who could answer your questions with a local context, as clubs tend to be somewhat unique to the area they are in.
When I got my private, I did not purchase a plane, because I wasn’t going to be flying enough hours to justify the expense.
For instance, a Cessna 150, flown 100 hours a year, will run you more than renting that same Cessna from an FBO. I found that the break even point for me was in the 200 to 225 hours a year area. So, I ended up renting a plane. Buying an airplane has so many other costs involved, such as insurance, annual, equipment updates, repairs, etc.
The LSA is a good license. Would you be open to having a local CFI go over the difference in the LSA and the Private certificates?
Good luck – it’s really great to be a pilot..

Question: Which is better Gas or Electric for Rc Cars FOr A Hobby?
I have about 300 dollars and i want to know which will last longer cost affective easy for a begginer and that i can use it alot with other people. Tell me what its power source is and what model it is so i can get it plus it has to be 310 or less please help me out!
Answer: I have both and here is my opinion. For someone starting out go with electric no doubt! The gas models (nitro) are a pain to mess with due to a more complex engine that you need to tune the carb with temperature and humidity changes, have to keep a very close eye on engine temp. with a temperature gun ( more$), clean and flush the motor with after run oil after using it due to nitro draws moisture very easily and nitro fuel costs around $25 a gallon from my local hobby shop. There is a ton of stuff you need to buy and service you need to do to the motor to keep it in top condition. Electric on the other hand all you need to start is a truck, batteries and a battery charger. After using it you plug in the battery and thats it. To run for hours you will need a couple of batterys or a quick charger. I bought my son a Traxxas Rustler and am very pleased with it for a starter truck. Traxxas or Team Associated has several models that are nice but the Traxxas is a good brand with cheap easy to find parts. I hope this helps some!

Question: Can an electric igniter from a grill light a firework fuse?
I have a panel for launching fireworks from a distance. It uses model rocket igniters to set off the fuses. The local hobby store doesn’t sell them anymore, so I was thinking of using the electric igniter from a grill to light the fuses instead.
Answer: I’m not firmiliar with the ignition system you describe but check out the electric match kits at Skylighter: http://www.skylighter.com/mall/ignition.asp#GN5051
You have to get the dip kit and the ematch blanks below the kit on the page to make an electric match. I’m not really sure if those’ll work with the system you’ve got but if you send them an email with the specs of the system I’m sure they’ll be able to help you out.

Question: I need a hobby – something to build, something to work on. during the day, on weekends?
Basically I want to find a hobby.
Something big to work on, to create one final project.
Something I can obsess over, work on during weekends and in my spare time.
No models, something I can make from scratch or something I can modify to create something entirely different.
Something that’ll take a lot of time and I can proudly show people when I’m finished.I know this sounds a bit weird but c’mon! Help a brother out!
Edit: Thanks for all your answers!
Something to do with either wood or electronics would be wonderful, again, thanks for all your answers, all will be considered and are extremely helpful!
Answer: many hobbies to choose from. you can always get an old car and fix it up from ground up or find one that runs and and work on that. make a paint scheme for it, tires, sound system. chop it down or raise it up.
you can look into building you a man cave if you have the room in your yard. deck it out inside surround sound, tv. computer room or what ever you want. my friend likes music and has one and has a great collection of music.
