Do you like seaweed or raw fish? Eating Sushi may not sound like a hobby if you like sushi and can afford to eat daily. But, in most places, sushi is pretty expensive so it is best to eat it only occasionally. Basically, eat sushi as a hobby! Whenever you want to enjoy sushi fully, you should know the basics of sushi eating. There are many types of sushi. The sliced raw fish called Sashimi, though, is technically not sushi but sometimes people refer to everything with raw fish as sushi.

What to know when eating sushi?

First of all, if you are going to eat raw fish, you need to make sure as much as possible that the restaurant that you are eating in is safe and clean. If you smell something that is not right then do not eat there. Eating something raw is an easy way to get sick, catch germ or worse! The place must be spotless if you are going to eat raw fish there. Pregnant women and people with bad immune systems should not be eating raw fish. Consult your doctor if you do not know if you should eat raw fish or not.

If you are new to sushi eating, you might want to ask the chef what the recommended menu is. They might have something special for the day or fresh catch of the day that you might want to try. You might want to try a few different ones to see which ones you like the most. People have preferences when it comes to eating sushi and you will learn which sushi is your favorite in no time.
