Hobby Blades

Question: What do you think the quality of this knife would be?

What I mean is do you think it will break easily or have dull blades.
Also, how about this knife.

Answer: I had one of them a few years ago same make. It was not worth the few dollars I paid for it. The blades are soft and do not hold an edge well and all of the pieces are loose in the handle. I said had one because I thew it away. I would stay away from it.

Question: Wood Carving- What supplies needed for a beginner interested in this hobby? ?

My 11 year old son wants to learn to carve wood… I don’t know what to buy… what kind of knife, what kind of wood, anything else needed?

Want to get him all the stuff for Christmas.

Answer: There are many types of woodcarving. To decide which kind he might be interested in, get catalogs from Woodcraft and Lee Valley Tools. They not only sell tools for carving but also how to books. They also have web sites.

Question: Is gardening a fairly simple hobby?

I’m very into psychology, knives, and true crime.

Apparently, it’s frowned upon when you purchase a book called ‘Professional Killers’ at the local book store.

I think I’m going to take up gardening, for my own sake.

What makes gardening so appealing to you?

Answer: Sometimes a gardener compares raising a plant to raising a child,they treat those plant like their own kids, so what I like is that it involves passion — yes, Passion, something that is associated with my sign – Scorpio.

You may find this funny and laughable but once when I watered one of my plants at home, it sort of made a reaction followed up with a noise and I felt like asking “Do you really like it?”…It was a wonderful feeling

Sometimes you can REALLY FEEL how they respond and it may not necessarily work out if you just be very duty bound, you have to do it wholeheartedly and with completeness
