There are people who are great at singing and they write their own songs and so on but there are even more people who love to sing karaoke. Karaoke is a form of entertainment in which amateur singers sing along with recorded music (and/or a music video) using a microphone and public address system. The music is typically a well-known pop song minus the lead vocal. Lyrics are usually displayed on a video screen, along with a moving symbol or changing color and/or music video images, to guide the singer. In some countries, a karaoke music video with lyrics and the option to disable the original voice track is called a KTV. Due to its English pronunciation, it is sometimes incorrectly spelled “kareoke”.

You can get together with some friends and sing karaoke together. It is fun and it is a great way to socialize and bond with friends with common interests. Some people do karaoke for fun whenever they have time as a hobby while others get into it more seriously and strive to become the best karaoke singer they can be.

With karaoke machines or software, anyone can be a great singer. People love to sing and express themselves through songs. They enjoy singing and dancing along with the songs. Many companies have come out with karaoke products including Walt Disney Company. You can sing along with Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse and Disney princesses. Children love to do that. For teens, karaoke with Hannah Montana or High School Musical cast are very popular.

A lot of people love to sing but some sing better than others. Singing can be a great hobby for those who either have great voice, want to learn how to sing, or who are music oriented. If singing is enjoyable for you, then you can always do it as a hobby. If you are very good at singing, you may be able to sing professionally. You can either sing in a group or sing alone.

How to start singing as a hobby?

Most people can make noise and sing when they are alone. However, if you want to sing in public, you may want to take lessons so that you know how to project your voice and how to breathe properly when singing. If you can take singing lessons, great. However, if you don’t want to spend the money taking singing lessons, you can join a choir or a singing club where there are experienced people to give you advice on singing.
