This is and always has been a considerable market for bespoke, affordable jewellery. It is something that women will always purchase no matter how much they already own. If you can produce quality designs and expose them to enough customers, you are sure to turn your hobby into a small to medium sized second income.
This process begins when you purchase your materials. If you are going to make a profit, it is important to keep your costs to a minimum, as the less you spend on your materials, the more profit you will be able to make from charging a competitive price for your jewellery. Why not source your beads and other materials from wholesalers online rather than from your local beading or craft shop, which a rebound to be more expensive. Obviously if your jewellery looks too cheap it will not be as desirable to your customers, so why not try mixing some of the cheaper beads with other more attractive ones.
The second point is this- design is paramount. If your designs don’t catch the eye, no one will want to buy them. This is something you’ll have to work out on your own, although if you have been producing jewellery as a hobby for any amount of time you should have some idea as to the popularity of your designs from family and friends. Do not be afraid to try something different. Even though what you produce may not be to everyone’s taste it may be all the more attractive to someone else. Equally, the designs that you like the most will not necessarily be the ones that prove to be the most popular when you come to sell them. So try a few different styles and see what works. You can’t please all the people all the time!
Try to think of other ways of giving your products added value, something to offer the customer other than simple aesthetics. If you decide to set up your own shop online or through Ebay perhaps you could offer a gift wrapping service. Other people incorporate magnotherapy products (magnetic bracelets etc) into their bracelet designs, which can be bought as part of a kit for beaders. I have included a link below. This means that you can sell your designs as more than just jewellery, but as a health product too- why not cash in on the craze?
Finally, no-one is going to buy your jewellery if they don’t see it! Try to think of as many different places to sell your jewellery as possible. If you are planning on producing a lot, perhaps your own online shop is right for you. Many ‘template’ e-commerce sites are available that allow you to set up with little time, effort or expertise. Don’t expect to be the number one result on Google though! Another option would be to sell on Ebay, which would give you far greater exposure instantly, but you may find that you end up competing with others on price alone.
Local shops could be a better idea for you, as jewellery looks much better when seen ‘in the flesh’ and can be an impulse purchase for consumers. Approach suitable shops and ask them if they would consider stocking your jewellery on a sale or return basis.
Don’t expect instant success, but keep at it and I’m sure you will find something that works for you. And have fun!

Gymnastics
Gymnastics is a hobby as well as a competitive indoor sport. Some people wouldn’t call gymnastics a hobby but if you really like what your doing it will make a good exercise and a great hobby to keep you fit.
Gymnastics can be done in a gym, a P.E room and even at home. Gymnastics is a sport that needs the strength of your body as well as great coordination. To be a good gymnast takes a lot of practice. Most people start doing gymnastics when they are very young so that it is easier to build the right muscles for this hobby. If you start early, you can even enter gymnastic competitions.
Gymnastics for men and woman are very different. For men, you need to be very strong to do gymnastics. For women, you need to be more flexible with your body. Both require a lot of upper-body strength, and plenty physical coordination. The actual things you do ‘on the mat’ in gymnastics however are very different because men’s gymnastics tends to focus on strength while women focus on dexterity.
Most people know Gymnastics from watching the Olympics. Others are first exposed to it in high school, at least in larger high schools with many different sports programs. It is clearly not available to everyone, and even here in America it can be tough for anyone living outside of major cities to attend.
Where Gymnastics really turns into a full-fledged hobby is after the competitive years… Since youth is so important for gymnasts, most ‘retired’ (and gymnasts are often known to retire in their early 20s or sooner) gymnasts remain hobbyists for as long as they remain limber and strong.
Walking
Walking is a hobby. Almost everyone walks daily. They walk so much and so often that they think walking is not a hobby. There are people who walk every chance they get, whenever they have time. They walk after work, they walk on weekends, and they walk when they want to relax.
Benefits of Walking
Not only you can enjoy fresh air, sunshine, and being somewhere you are usually not, walking is a good way to get some exercise. Walking will help you be healthy. Some people prefer to jog instead of walk but others prefer to just walk because it is low impact and it is still a good way to exercise. People of any ages can walk. You see children walking with parents, you see young adults walk their dogs, you see middle age people walk and you also see seniors walk. If you are walking for exercise, you need to walk quite a bit. You might not sweat but if you move your muscles a lot, it is still good exercise.
How to enjoy walking

Some people say that walking is boring but there are things you can do to make your walk more enjoyable. You can choose where to walk so that you enjoy the scenery. You can walk in a botanical garden, exercising while admiring colorful flowers and butterflies. You can walk in a mall so you can see what are on sale at the same time. Some people like to walk in a park, some like to walk near a lake, some like to walk in a mall, some like to walk at the zoo, etc. You choose the place to walk so that you will be the least bored.
You can also walk with someone. Statistics show that when people have walking partners, they usually walk faster and longer. When you are having a conversation with someone, time flies and soon you would have walked a long time without knowing it.
If you do not want to find someone to walk with or you cannot find someone who can walk when you can, you can walk with a dog. Many dog owners say that they walk a lot more than they would have when they have their dogs to walk. Time often flies when you are walking a dog too.
Gardening
Gardening is one of the most popular hobbies for in some places. Gardening is the practice of growing pretty or useful plants. Some people garden for the looks so that they can have pretty flowers to decorate and brighten their life with. Others plant for the fruits, vegetables, herbs and leaves. There are many people who plant only very healthy fruits and vegetables, even ones with medicinal powers.
Types of Gardening

(Gardening)
Gardening ranges in scale from fruit orchards, to long boulevard plantings with one or more different types of shrubs, trees and herbaceous plants, to residential yards including lawns and foundation plantings, to large or small containers grown inside or outside.
Gardening may be very specialized, with only one type of plant grown, or involve a large number of different plants in mixed plantings. It involves an active participation in the growing of plants, and tends to be labor intensive, which differentiates it from farming or forestry.
Nowadays, young people have less and less time to do gardening because they are too busy doing other things. Also, the newer generations do not seem to appreciate working outside. They would rather go and do something else more fun and dynamic. But if you like gardening, then it is both good for your health and it is good for the environment. Just do not over exert yourself and stay out of the hot sun if you can.
