People have been doing photography as a hobby for a long time. Some people really love it and are good at it and have turned their photography hobby into a profitable business and a career. Others just use the camera to take pictures for fun. There are now two main types of photography as a hobby. The first uses a traditional camera where the image is captured on film and transferred to paper by a chemical process. The second is easier and images are taken with a digital camera and stores in a memory card to be transferred to a computer or printed on paper. Digital cameras have made photography much easier, cheaper, and more enjoyable.

What you need to do photography as a hobby

Like all hobbies, you need to like taking pictures, snapping the shutter at a lot of things that you see and enjoy creating pictures and editing them to make beautiful pictures. You will either need a digital camera or a film camera and film or memory card.
