Finding a Hobby

May 8th, 2008

Finding a Hobby was never before easy.

The problem is that there are simply too many choices. -And the list of them all keeps growing day by day.

It’s not like you can open up the yellow pages and find every hobby nicely listed and categorized… No, they are all spread out across the planet, some taken much more seriously than others, some practiced more in some cultures than others, and worst yet, no one until now has ever attempted to properly categorize them at all.

Thank goodness for the internet! Now and forever more you can simply log onto this site and read through all of the known hobbies’ descriptions, constantly updated and rated by the public.

But best of all, you won’t spend too much time reading hobbies that aren’t right for you because we’ve figured out a way for you to immediately cut out 9/10ths of the hobbies that are clearly wrong for you and your lifestyle!

We have figured out that all Hobbies fall neatly into ONE of TEN categories:

Types of Hobbies:

  1. Indoor Achievement
  2. Outdoor Achievement
  3. Indoor Charity
  4. Outdoor Charity
  5. Indoor Collection
  6. Outdoor Collection
  7. Indoor Competition
  8. Outdoor Competition
  9. Indoor Observation
  10. Outdoor Observation

It’s best to simply ask yourself where you want to spend your time. If you enjoy the outdoors and want to spend your time there, then you can safely eliminate all of the five Indoor categories from your list before continuing.

From there onwards, it’s just a matter of deciding what interests you the most. Do you just want to help other people or some cause? Do you want to collect rare things? How about perform or achieve something so others can see what you’ve done? Or perhaps you have a competitive streak in you and can’t get a certain game off your mind…

Surely one of the five remaining categories will pull you in more than the others.

Once you’ve found the right category for you, we’ve also made it easy on you to scroll through the entries and find the best one for you fastest. So give it a try and see how easy it is to find your hobby. -Once you do we’ll even help get you off on the right foot finding others interested in it too.
