Shopping is a great hobby for anyone with money to spend. For those without money or with little money, it can be depressing. It is no fun to go to a store or a mall and look at all sorts of things that you might want but not be able to buy them. On the other hand, if money is not an issue, you can buy whatever you see and it is usually fun to have new things and new toys around.

Does Everyone Like to Shop?
Not everyone likes to shop. Some people are shopaholics and cannot stop shopping and buying new stuff for themselves or buying gifts for others. On the other hand, some people just do not like browsing through anything and they would rather have what they need picked out for them and delivered to them. The idea of going shopping is not fun for them at all.
Who shops as a hobby?
Both men and women like shopping. Men might shop for electronic toys, computers, cars, and so on while women shop for clothes, makeups, housewares, etc. Usually men shop less frequently but they buy higher ticket items. Women like to shop more frequently but some of the items that they buy are not as expensive.
Spend Wisely …
One thing for certain, if you are taking up shopping as a hobby, you need to make sure that you have the resources to shop. In other words, you should only shop as a hobby if you have all the money in the world at your disposal and the cost of shopping will not hurt your finances. You need to be reasonable about how much money you spend on a hobby.
Shopping can get expensive because you are not always buying things that you need. Some people buy just for the sake of buying. Some buy to add to thier collection. Therefore, the best thing to do is to budget how much you have to shop with and stay within your budget every time. If it is too expensive to keep up with this hobby, perhaps you might want to change your hobby for the time being.
