Collecting has long been a favorite hobby for many people for centuries. People choose to collect different things. Some people like to collect guns - different types of guns.

History of Gun Collecting

The practice of collecting guns has gone back since the beginning of commercially available guns. While critics have stated that guns and gun collection risks human lives, gun collectors maintain that it is people who cause injury and not the gun itself.

Is it a good thing to collect guns?

While a gun poses certain risks, swimming pools often pose an even greater risk due to the threat of drowning. Some gun collectors do not use their firearms while others may use them in clay-shooting exercises or target practice. Others are regular hunters.

To be a gun collector

Some gun collectors are primarily concerned with collecting fire-arms from past historical eras, while others have preserved guns used by family members who have gone to combat in various military deployments and wars. Some gun collectors prefer to keep their fire-arms mounted in cases and out of reach, while others also use them for self-defence.
