If you are a cat person, then one of your favorite hobbies is probably to play with your cat or cats. Most people love playing with cute cats or kittens. Kittens are born with their eyes shut but their eyes soon open about 10 days later. A kitten will learn to walk about 2 weeks later. Kittens and cats love to play. They play fight with each other but they will not really hurt each other. You should not separate a kitten from its mother before it is 8-weeks old. A pet cat usually live for about 12-14 years but some can live as long as 30 years.

To play with your cat, you need to make it feel safe. You need to learn how cats talk. Cats act in certain ways in certain situations. By learning to read cats, you can be sure to play with them when they are ready to play and leave them alone when they want to be left alone. You can also calm them down when they are not calm.

Wine tasting is a great hobby for anyone who appreciate wine. Wine tasting is the sensory examination and evaluation of wine. While the practice of wine tasting is as ancient as its production, a more formalized methodology has slowly become established from the 14th century onwards. Modern, professional wine tasters (such as sommeliers or buyers for retailers) use a constantly-evolving formal terminology which is used to describe the range of perceived flavors, aromas and general characteristics of a wine. More informal, recreational tasting may use similar terminology, usually involving a much less analytical process for a more general, personal appreciation.

To really enjoy wine tasting, you need to know all about wine. If you are a seasonal wine drinker, it can be hard so people often get a book to further their knowledge of wine. This book called the Wine Bible till tell you about all the different types of wine and grapes that you need to know to be knowledgeable enough to enjoy tasting different wine.

But, in most places, sushi is pretty expensive so it is best to eat it only occasionally. Basically, eat sushi as a hobby! Whenever you want to enjoy sushi fully, you should know the basics of sushi eating. There are many types of sushi. The sliced raw fish called Sashimi, though, is technically not sushi but sometimes people refer to everything with raw fish as sushi.

What to know when eating sushi?

First of all, if you are going to eat raw fish, you need to make sure as much as possible that the restaurant that you are eating in is safe and clean. If you smell something that is not right then do not eat there. Eating something raw is an easy way to get sick, catch germ or worse! The place must be spotless if you are going to eat raw fish there. Pregnant women and people with bad immune systems should not be eating raw fish. Consult your doctor if you do not know if you should eat raw fish or not.

Eating Sushi

If you are new to sushi eating, you might want to ask the chef what the recommended menu is. They might have something special for the day or fresh catch of the day that you might want to try. You might want to try a few different ones to see which ones you like the most. People have preferences when it comes to eating sushi and you will learn which sushi is your favorite in no time.

Watching TV

There are a lot of people who love to watch TV at home to relax. They enjoy sitting in front of a television even though their favorite programs are not on. They do not mind flipping channels often and they will always find something to watch on TV. Just the experience of sitting on a couch in front of a TV and not having to do anything else make them happy. For some of these folks, watching TV is a hobby that they cannot live without. Some of them are very addicted to watching television and will have withdrawal symptoms if they cannot watch TV. While it is ok to watch TV as a hobby, it is unhealthy and damaging to be so dependent on watching TV that you forget everything around you. There are risks of watching too much television.

Do not watch too much TV!

If you decide that in your spare time, you are just going to watch some TV, then make sure that you are doing it in your spare time and do not turn on the TV if you have some other responsibilities to take care of. Statistics show that the average U.S. household has at least one TV set turned on for about seven hours a day. Some people watch the news to keep up with whats going on around them whereas some just turn to soap opera channels.

The average school-aged child often spends 27 hours per week watching TV. Younger children may watch more TV depending on their parents and home lifestyles. Over the course of a year, many children spend more time watching TV than they spend in school or participating in any other activity except sleep.

Is it good to watch TV?

Whether watching television is good or not depends entirely on what you watch. If you are watching CNN news channel or other news channels then it is good because you will be up to date with whats around you and will be more educated as a result. If you watch only movies or soap operas or anything that do not give you real knowledge, then they can be bad influences on you and your children if they happen to watch with you.

First of all, you need to know that when you are watching TV, you are not doing other things that may be more useful. You need to think about how you are spending your time wisely. You could be exercising which is good for your health. You could be learning something new which add to your knowledge and experience in the world. You could be spending time with your family. Or, you could even be volunteering to make a difference in someone’s life. There are many things that you can do actively, instead of passively watching TV.

The term probably originated from the action of the caretaker “sitting on” the baby in one room, while the parents were entertaining or busy in another.

Although, you see many people, especially teens, babysit without any prior experience of babysitting or without any knowledge of how to correctly babysit and how to handle dangerous situations should they occur, it is important that you find out in case something should happens while the baby or child is on your watch. In some countries various organizations produce courses for babysitters, mainly focusing on child safety and first aid appropriate for infants and children.

You may see on TV that a babysitter can do whatever he or she wants without keeping a close watch on the child he or she is babysitting. But, in reality, you need to be more alert of what is going on because if the baby gets hurt while you are babysitting then you will get into a big trouble.
